Timelines

Creating timelines helps both me and the children to create a mental picture of historical events. We have a large timeline on the wall above the kitchen table. There are sections for Chinese, Viking, Scythian, Celtic and Greek History as these are the cultures we have studied with our history co-op. There is also a section for random events where we add dates from any book we are reading.

Sometimes we add figures to go with the dates. Here are some free printables I created to use in our history lessons.
