The girls range in age from 5-10 and even though she's a year older than last year, she's still the smallest one.
Life is quite a bit more normal now than it was a month ago and Jemma is growing up. On Sunday while I was gardening, she went in for a break. When I went inside to check on her she was on the phone talking to her Grandma in Michigan. (We live in Germany.) It was 7:30 in the morning Michigan time. I didn't even know she knew how to dial the phone. I bet Grandma was surprised to hear from her.
Today was dose number nine of l'aspariginase. The last one is scheduled for April 29th and shortly after that her catheter will probably come out. There were no problems with her blood sugar. In fact, at 54 it was quite low. Eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, black beans, and olives for breakfast did the trick.
