I Saw it on Vacation - January 2013

I Saw it on Vacation is back! What have you seen on Vacation? This is a place for kids and adults to learn about geography. Many of us have been to exciting places and seen unique things. Let us dream about future vacations while we learn more about our world!

The link will open the first day of each month and remain open for the entire month.

Corn fields in Iowa, the Eiffel Tower in Paris, Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan, grizzly bears in Alaska…….monuments, landmarks, national parks, geographical features of any type are fair game. It doesn’t even really need to be a vacation. Your post could be about your local climate, or the traditions of your region. If the post shows photos of mountains and big horn sheep in Colorado, or explains hurricanes in the south it’s applicable. Just make sure it is kid-friendly and geography related.

Feel free to link-up a post you've already written and comment on the posts of others!
I’m excited to see what you have seen!

  1. Would love to add your button but I am not sure how I go about it as I've never done it before. Any tips? (Am also using a blogger account) Thanks muchly :)

    1. Sure - To add the button to a post you just copy the text below the button. Then when you create a post, just above where you type the text there is a choice between compose and HTML. Switch to HTML and past in the code below.

To add it to the side bar copy the same code. Then add an HTML gadget to the sidebar. Paste the code into the available window in the HTML gadget.
