Leukemia - How is Jemma? - Day 85

After a long stressful week of cleaning and quarantine, Jemma's brother and sister have recovered from their colds. Nobody else in the house is showing signs of illness. Thank goodness. In addition, Leukemia treatment is proceeding as planned. Jemma had a lumbar puncture this morning and a shot of Alexan chemotherapy. We plan to visit the hospital everyday this week except for Friday.

Once we returned from the hospital we found my son engaged in his new obsession. Metal detecting. Last week my husband took him on an outing with a few co-workers. They found lots of foil, bottle caps, a musket ball and two old coins. My son was hooked. He borrowed a metal detecting book and a metal detector. Now he is busy digging up the back yard.

The girls watched for a while, but decided crafting was more fun. I wonder what they will think when he finds one of those Celtic coins he's been researching on the internet?

    1. We haven't done that research project yet. That is a borrowed metal detector. I think we will be getting one in the near future.
