Oppenheim

Oppenheim is a wine growing village on the Rhine River.
 There are narrow walkways.
The remains of a medieval castle overlooks the town.
There is a beautiful Gothic Church complete with rose window.
Behind the church are the remains from a cemetery which was removed.
This door is one of the entry ways to a long labyrinth of tunnels underneath the city. They were used for storing market goods during the middle ages and hiding places during wars. City tours take tourists into the tunnels.
Part of the city wall dating from medieval times remains standing.
