Josefov - Jewish Quarter

The Old Jewish Cemetery was used between the 15th and 19th centuries in Prague. It contains several layers of burrials.

Jewish people in Prague suffered terribly during World War II. Just outside this cemetary in the Pinkas Synagogue is a memorial to Jewish Holocaust victims. Names cover several large rooms.
The Maisel Synagogue was originally built in the 16th century.
Spanish Synagogue - Inside this synagogue the walls are painted with beautiful geometric designs. Sadly it was used to store items stollen from Jewish people during the war. Now it is a museum.
